What an excellent week in sales it's been for SEGA. Well, we could have started this story with the fact that GT5P is still at Number 1, but we thought we'd save that for later. Damn!
Anyway, with GT5P retaining its top spot in the All Formats Chart - and apparently accounting for 39% of all PS3 sales in the UK - let's go looking for new entries in the Top 10. We find SEGA's Condemned 2 first-person horror-shooter - with added 'getting drunk' fun.
That's it really. Nothing else new has slipped in. darkSectOr (or darkSectOr or DaRk SecTOR) from D3P sits just outside at Number 11 staring into the Top 10 with its mad, starey third-person eyes.
Outside of those two, well, it's business as usual. As we said SEGA's good week includes the C2 and Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games (MaSatOG as we fondly call it now). Leaving aside the politics of whether the fat man and the hedgepig should be at the Olympic Games for one moment (of course they should, let's keep freedom fighting out of games, yeah?), the next SEGA showing is Viking: Battle For Asgard. It's about vikings and Asgard and a battle for it, and it's a damned sight less embarrassing than Beowulf (or wolf) was.
Being at the top isn't everything though, right? Right. Most of the games in the Top 10 actually saw their sales drop. Not Pro Evo 2008 on the Wii though, oh no. That actually saw its sales increase by 34%. You can see the full list right down below:
