Nintendo: Wii Brawl Issues are US and Japan Only

Following the recent problems with the Wii's double-layer lens reading and Super Smash Bros Brawl in the US and Japan, SPOnG went in search of news on the European version of the game - prior to its release over here.

We contacted a spokesman at Nintendo in Europe to ask whether a similar Wii repair website was going to be set up as and when SSBB launched here.

We were told, "As the causes are environmental and not technical - it's impossible to say at this stage." The spokesman then pointed out, "So at the moment, this is an issue related to JAP/US SKUs".

As to when the game will launch in Europe... we wait with breath bated.
