If there's one thing SPOnG loves (there isn't, there are many, that's not the point) it's getting something for nothing. Because we eschew money up here in Yorkshire, we're bringing you the new trailer for Electronic Arts' upcoming free-to-play shooter,
Battlefield Heroes.
Not wanting to miss the opportunity to cash in on a tried and tested means of appealing to the gaming community, EA has opted to cash in on the style of PomStralian satirist Zero Punctuation for this trailer - not the game.
SPOnG has decided, however, to forgive the publisher. 'Why?' you ask. Well, because we rather like the look of
Battlefield Heroes. It looks pretty and fun and not at all like it's going to belittle our Grandparents' WWII struggles with an over the top storyline and 'inspiring' music along the lines of
Gottadamerung by Wagner (What? We're cultured and that, innit). Instead, it will do it with cartoons!
Anyway, dig in to the video and screens below. if you want to learn more, look
this way.
