While the Xbox 360 version has Alex in various states of combat with all kinds of nastiness, the PS3 screens simply ooze a quiet, chilling atmosphere. Will the 360 version be loads more exciting than its PS3 cousin? We hope not.

i think the reason was that xbox fans are usually more attracted to action, where as playstation fans know all about silent hill and know it's the atmosphere that drives the player not the action least it is for me anyway

I have to be honest but these graphics remind me of resident evil 4 style. Doesn't seem to have any graphical edge about them what so ever, was expecting more detail on both platforms. But will have to wait and see as I know Silent Hill doesn't dissapoint with making you crap yourself and playing with the lights on!
