Hear that screeching noise? Smell that burning rubber? If it's not you crashing into a tree as you read this on your phone while driving... it must be mean that new screens for Mario Kart Wii are skidding into view.
SPOnG wonders if it's wrong that we find Mario settling his sizeable posterior onto the seat of a bike inherently amusing. Now, we know that plenty of bikers are fat. We had some perilous first-hand experience of it when we walked into Jake's RV Park & Tavern and thought that all the chaps in leather meant that we'd get to dance to a bit of Kylie. There's just something comical about Mario, in his red and blues, plonked on a teeny little motocross bike.
Anyway, have a look at the damn screens!

I hated the Gamecube MK. Isn't it about time that Nintendo just ditched this series? I wish they would and come up with something fresh unexpected and as excellent as the original MK was on the SNES.

Yeah.
Firstly I think having a wrist strap on a steering wheel looks inherently pathetic.
Secondly, what they should have done/should do next is Mario Kart Galaxy, where you can drive around/between planets, up walls, etc.
