SPOnG's all for fighting bears. We've long considered it a favourable pursuit as we roam through the mountains in our Bear Grylls (think Ray Mears times 10) type manner. But... we have to question the sanity of going up against the bear in these new screens for Chapter 12 of Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar.
Granted, the chap staring the big furry beast down is wearing armour (which looks suspiciously like it leaves his arse exposed). Sure, he's carrying a weapon and a shield. But... we can't help but feel that taking on a dirty yellow animal that's approximately a million times your size is going to end in tears.
We'll be able to find out for ourselves sometime in February, when Chapter 12 (dubbed The Ashen Wastes) is released to LOTRO subscribers for free. In the meantime, you can find out more about Shadows of Angmar on SPOnG's dedicated game page.

Ray Mears times ten, hahahahahahahaha, ohhh man. that's a good one. "Roam through the mountains in our Bear Gyrlls type manner"...? What does that mean? You never venture more than a few yards from the nearest road and have a small army of support personel with you at all times? No offense intended but why would you admit to being a total punk and wimp? Bear Gyrlls isn't even quaified to wipe Ray Mears arse.
