Activision announced it signed the Mrs Rude gameshow, The Weakest Link last week and we have all the information on the game before anyone else.
You loved Who Wants to be a Millionaire? and The Weakest Link looks set to kick it’s TV predecessor to the kerb.
WWTBAM had 1’000 questions included in the initial release. TWL will have a whopping 100’000 giving the game 100 times the play life. Activision, the publishers and developers of the game have also promised that the gameplay pace will be reflective of the TV show, with up to nine players able to fend off Anne’s questions simultaneously.
Millionaire was a fairly slow paced game with a lot of FMV and sweeping camera movements filling the game time. TWL will concentrate on frenetic quizzery with the only pauses in the game dedicated to slice of Robbinson Rudeness. Great!
The game will be released on PC, PlayStation and PlayStation 2 in October of this year.
