Denis Kaigler: not a GameCube killer
Corporate life takes quite some time to reach fruition we have found. For example, back in June last year it was leaked that Nintendo's Vice President, Marketing and Corporate Affairs, Perrin Kaplan, was going to be leaving the company. This was confirmed when Perrin left... in December.

Well, her replacement will be moving into Nintendo's lovely, new Bay Area office in Redwood City (California) just as soon as the moving vans make the journey from Reebok in Canton, Massachusetts. Yup, Nintendo has replaced the killer of the GameCube (well, the announcer of its demise) with Reebok's former... take a deep breath now:

The bearer of that enormous title becomes Nintendo of America's vice president of Marketing & Corporate Affairs - so a smaller business card for the lady. According to the company,"Kaigler will oversee all aspects of corporate affairs, including corporate communications, public relations, government affairs, investor and analyst relations, and internal communications for Nintendo of America, and will play a key role in global coordination. Kaigler comes to Nintendo following a 16-year tenure at Reebok International, where she serves as..." yup, we already know the title.

Interesting background is that Kaigler, "...is a graduate of Emerson College in Boston, where she majored in journalism. Kaigler serves as a member of the Emerson College Board of Overseers."

Journalism, eh? We welcome you to video gaming, Ms K'.

Corporate Citizenship? What the crap is that? Hopefully she doesn't say stupid things like Kaplan has been doing for years.
