Resistance Maps Drop Onto PlayStation Network

A new map pack for Resistance: Fall of Man leads this week's PlayStation Network Store 'deploy' today. Yes, 'deploy' - like the kind of thing you'd do with a Dropship in Warhawk.

Bracknell is the location of the first of the two maps. Here's what Sony has to say on the subject, "In the Bracknell map, the struggle against the Chimera comes to the cavernous spaces of an old railway system – now a Chimeran node. Expect intense close-quarters fighting as you explore three storeys of dimly lit spawning rooms and disused train carriages."

One SPOnGer wonders if Shikara's nightclub is included.

Next up is Axbridge which, if you didn't know, features a very picturesque thirteenth century church. Surprisingly, Sony makes no mention of it in its spiel, telling us, "The Axbridge map, meanwhile, consists of two resistance bases spanning a valley strewn with rocks and Chimeran structures. Find yourself a secret perch among the cliffs on either side or brave the walled ‘theatre of combat’ on the valley floor, and prepare for battle: the enemy will show no mercy."

Notably, neither location includes any cathedrals.
