This week’s big news from the Japanese gaming bible Weekly Famitsu is that Namco Bandai is set to release a totally new RPG for the Wii, called Fragile.
Yes - a totally new one... totally.
Fragile is being put together by the acclaimed dev team at Tri-Crescendo, the guys responsible for the wonderous Eternal Sonata (pictured).
Details are scarce, but Famitsu reveals that the game is set in the post-apocalyptic near future (hardly original there then…) and you play as a boy called Seto.
Enemies are referred to as ‘ghosts’ and you can use the Wii Remote to control an array of gadgets such as a torch or a metal detector.
Fragile is said to be 30% complete and is down for a 2008 release in Japan. No word as yet on any plans for release in Europe or the US.
