SPOnG cannot wait for SUDA 51’s adult-themed sexy, ninja assassin game, for Wii,
No More Heroes next year. Until then some of us are staggering for joy that developers, Grasshopper Manufacture and publisher Marvellous Interactive, have seen fit to unveil a gloriously sexy cosplay marketing campaign.
Chief developer, SUDA (aka, Goichi Suda), is more usually associated with the
more violent games such as
Killer 7 than he is with sex - so this is something of a creative departure for him. You can read our full interview with him from this year's Tokyo Game Show right
here.
The
No More Heroes website will include a weekly cosplay feature entitled ‘PlaySilvia’ that you can use to familiarise us with the female character Silvia Christel of the US Assassin Association from the game. Silvia Christel you say? For those readers not versed in 1970s erotica, this is a direct reference to sultry Dutch legend
Sylvia Kristel... so, well, you get the point... it's about sex dummy.
While some of the older, less adolescent members of the SPOnG team tut and shake their heads in dismay at video games marketing from the 1980s, the rest our brains (those areas triggered by pure, atavistic instinct) all secretly know what we want to do with the image of the sexy Japanese chick.
Find out for yourself, this week, by saying
helllllllllooooo to 24-year old Yuzuki Aikawa.
Stay tuned for much more on
No More Heroes in the coming months...
