Mii Contest Channel Launches Today
Nintendo gives ‘Check Mii Out’ channel a worse name

Nintendo has announced that the Mii Contest Channel launches today on European Wiis. SPOnG is mildly baffled as to why it didn’t stick with the original name: Check Mii Out Channel.
Nah, it does have just the tiniest hint of (whisper it...) sexuality if you look really closely; and we won't be having that on our Wiis! What we want is good, healthy competition!
Naming issues aside, you can now transport your best Miis from the Mii Channel onto the Mii Contest Channel, to get involved in 'fun' contests with other Wii gamers across the world. You can steal the best Miis that you like and pass them off as your own creations! Brilliant!
There will also be contests to create celebrity Mii look-a-likes and other bits and bobs of Mii-related whimsy and fun.
Oh, and most importantly, it’s free. Grab it now from the Wii Software section of the Wii Shop Channel.
