Drake's Fortune Demo Coming In November?

Naughty Dog says 'yes'

A demo of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune has been hinted (or pretty much confirmed, depending on how trusting you are) by the game's developer, Naughty Dog.

Following a routine posting on the PlayStation blog about the development process behind the upcoming Tomb Raider-alike adventure romp, Naughty Dog developer Christian Gyrling jumped into the forum to post the following:

"A demo will be available in the Play Station Store sometime mid November. I don’t know the exact date as of now."

SPOnG's contacted Sony for the official line on the subject, but no comment was available at the time of press. That said, there's no good reason to doubt the word of one of the game's developers, unless the man is actually a hideous tease or horribly misinformed. SPOnG suspects neither to be the case.

While we wait, we can take comfort in the fact that Gyrling also tells us, "We went ‘gold’ last week. Right now the game is in other words 100% done and is currently going through the approval process", because Tomb Raider-alike or not, Drake is looking rather good. Erm... the game, not the character.

You can find out more on SPOnG's dedicated game page.

I'd say it's been more than hinted but not quite confirmed, i'd say it's more like somewhere in between
