Petition to Nintendo to allow Square to develop for GameCube
There are many games related petitions on the Internet. It seems that at any one time, there are dozens, maybe hundreds of people who want you to fight their fights for them, or support them in ther own particular prejudices. But few of these petitions are on such an emotive subject as the one directed at Nintendo company boss Hiroshi Yamauchi. The petition, designed to persuade Nintendo to reconsider their petty vendetta against Squaresoft describes itself thus:

The Purpose of this Petition is to Unite the Collective Desire of Gamers around the World who Want Nintendo to Allow SquareSoft to Make RPGs and other Games for the Nintendo GAMECUBE, Nintendo GameboyAdvance, and Future Nintendo Consoles.

By Signing Below you are Stating that:

1) You Believe that Nintendo Should Allow SquareSoft to Create Games for the NGC and GBA - as SquareSoft has Stated they Would Like to Do if Allowed.

2) Nintendo and its Leadership should Dissolve its Enmity and Bad Feelings against SquareSoft and do what is in the Best Interest of Both Nintendo and those who Buy Nintendo Products in Allowing SquareSoft to Again Develop Games for Nintendo systems, as it Has so Successfully and Brilliantly Done in the Past.

3) If Nintendo Allowed SquareSoft to Develop Games for Nintendo systems, You Would Certainly Purchase those SquareSoft Games for Nintendo Systems.

We, the Gamers of the World, Hereby Petition Nintendo and its Leadership to Put Aside the Past and Allow SquareSoft to Develop Interactive Entertainment Content for all Nintendo Systems. As Loyal Nintendo Fans, We Ask that Nintendo do the Right Thing in Making the Decision to Accept SquareSoft Again as a Developer. And If Nintendo Chooses Correctly, We Will Reward Nintendo by Buying the Games that SquareSoft Produces for Nintendo Systems.”
