You would think that the guys at Bethesda would have enough on their hands, what with making the 'Game of 2009' (otherwise known as
Fallout 3) but it seems not, with the company announcing new downloadable content for it’s behemoth of an RPG,
Elder Scrolls IV: OblivionFighter's Stronghold is a huge richly detailed castle, and is the sixth and final downloadable content update for
Oblivion.

Fighter's Stronghold will be available on Monday, October 15th for the PC and Xbox 360 and will be free (yes FREE!) for the first week, so mark you diaries now RPG fans. It’s time to get lost in Oblivion again! (insert obligatory drug pun here …)
But hang on. What of the PS3 version? Bethesda’s VP of public relations Pete Hines has the following to say about the PS3 version on the Bethesda blog:
"Since we're talking about DLC, I thought I'd update you with what's going on with the PS3 version of Oblivion. We are close, very close to working something out to bring Shivering Isles to PS3 owners. That may be in downloadable form via PSN, or as a standalone retail disc, or both. I can't say definitively yet that it will happen, and I definitely can't say when. But it's looking good, and hopefully we'll have good news soon. Don't have anything I can tell you about any other DLC, but Shivering Isles is the one we get asked about all the time, so I at least wanted to update folks on that."
SPOnG loves Hines’ down-home style. That’s all folks!
