PGR4 Demo on Live Now

Stop Work Immediately

Posted by Staff
A playable demo of Bizarre Creation's last-but-one game as an independent studio, Project Gotham Racing 4, which Adam is already hailing as perhaps the greatest racing game heís ever played, has just landed on Xbox Live Marketplace.

The demo features three cars and two bikes racing around courses based in Macau and the NŁrburgring.

Erm, why are you still reading this? What more do you need to know. Itís 1.3GB, itís PGR4, itís free. Go. Just go!

Stay tuned for Adamís full review later this week to find out if the motorbikes featured in the game are more than just a tagged on ĎUSPí and really do cut itÖ

Well I played the demo and well I am not impressed, visuals are lacking, the vehicles dont even seem to be touching the ground, environments are terrible they look worse than Test Drive Unlimited.

I played GT HD on the PS3 and WOW thats how PGR4 should have looked.

Not a fan boy are you there Saiyan? I think you'll find the PGRs have consistently provided the most immediate driving experience of any racer in recent times. Nit picking on a demo, when you should know that every review has given it at least 9 out of ten seems churlish don't you? As for GT HD, i played that demo and it felt like i was driving a turd round a mountain, no sense of speed or enjoyment to be had. I already have a driving license, i don't see why i need to prove myself to a PS3 either! I have had PGR on preorder for a long time and can't wait. And as for online, that will be brilliant.

SuperSaiyan4, it appears you can't win!

Terry, have you read any of SuperSaiyan4's posts prior to this one? He's usually slamming Sony and PS3. The one time he says anything the other way and he gets attacked.
