The King of All Cosmos and The Prince will not be gracing an Xbox 360 near you in Beautiful Katamari until sometime later in 2008, a Namco Bandai UK rep informed SPOnG this morning.
Though to ease the pain Namco Bandai has sent us this bunch of new screens from our favourite rolling ball collect-em-up, which you can see right here, while at the same time also informing us that:
“With this new era, the hit style of gameplay is able to present an experience only hinted at in previous versions. Seamless katamari growing and animated presents add to the experience that has captivated hardcore and casual gamers everywhere.”
With a nice HD makeover, a new soundtrack, loads of new levels, characters and objects to collect as well as the requisite online co-op and multiplayer modes, Beautiful Katamari on 360 is looking very much like the definitive version of this bonkers title.
