Indrema's Future in Serious Doubt
One of the best kept secrets of the next-generation consoles is the Linux based Indrema L600 machine. Everyone knows about the Xbox, GameCube and PlayStation 2, but how many of you have heard of the Indrema?

Unfortunately, chances are you never will. In the ruthlessly ferocious video game industry, small players are usually pushed out because they simply don’t have the money to market their products.

The Indrema console is different from all other next-gen consoles because it is open-source based. Basically that means that anyone and everyone can make games for the console without being charged extortionate licensing fees.

The specifications of Indrema are almost on a par with Microsoft’s Xbox and the console is designed to be powerful and cheap. Realistic 3D graphics, MP3 playback and high-speed broadband Internet connection all make the L600 highly appealing.

Sadly, the Indrema project needs cash badly. Investors realise that there is a great amount of cost and risk in releasing a new console. If the Indrema project doesn’t receive a cash injection within the next 30 days, it may die. Shame.
