We all know that the Olympic Games are a thoroughly heroic affair, but SEGA seems absolutely determined to prove it with this latest video from Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games.
It's all here: regal music, looks of grim determination, oversized footwear...
SPOnG's mighty pleased to see table tennis in there, just on the offchance that Rockstar and Oxygen both get it wrong with their ping pong offerings. What still concerns us, however, is the fact that Mario still seems to be matching Sonic in a foot race. We're not saying this because we're SEGA fanboys, it's just common sense. In a plumbing race, Mario wins. In a foot race, it's surely Sonic!

My little boy loves Mario and Sonic and this game is a dream come true for him and me, days of the playground making up stories with mates that there is a secret sonic and mario game in development in a secret location in a secret lab on a secret planet!, and here it is, now if only it could be out today so i could have Bioshock on (finding that last fecking diary tape) during the day while he is up in his room waving his arms and legs off to beat Knuckles cocky attitude!
