As of Monday, American Xbox 360 owners will be able to get hold of the first two seasons of
Family Guy via Xbox Live.
"This is our first one", said the executive vp of 20th Century Fox, Jamie McCabe. "We hope to have other content on there, but right now with the launch of
Halo 3 and the launch of the new season of
Family Guy coming out, the timing really worked well for this one."
The introduction of
Family Guy to Xbox Live marks the first Fox content to make it onto the service, as well as beating iTunes to the Griffins' punch.
Meanwhile, SPOnG's left staring at its brand new 360 Elite, with all that hard disk space, and screaming "Where the f**king f**k is our downloadable video content?" Come on, Microsoft, if Sony's managed to
get it sorted five months after the PS3's release, isn't it time you pulled your finger out?
