Lara Wii - The Definitive Tomb Raider?

First Wii screens inside

Posted by Staff
Lara Croft gymnastically bounds across to Nintendo’s Wii later this year in Tomb Raider Anniversary. On 7th December to be exact.

Take a look at this bunch of the first screens from the Wii version of Tomb Raider Anniversary. It's fair to say that, unless you've already played the game, this is an essential buy for Wii owners with a penchant for the exploits of curvaceous explorers.

Tomb Raider Anniversary, dare we say it, could well even prove to be the ‘definitive’ version of the game - should the controls work as well as Eidos assures us they do.

Want to know what else you need to look out for on Wii and DS over the next four months? Then head here for all the other essential Nintendo releases dates you need to know between now and Baby Jesus’ forthcoming birthday celebrations in December.

Haritori, why do think its taken a while for this game to surface after other formats? Because Eidos and Crystal have looked to make sure those same controls aren't tagged on, and actually improve the gameplay.

Perhaps you should wait and sample it or read up on it, before judging it. It might well be what it says it is, the definitive version.

yes i hope it is, but from what i have read and watched on it some of the little bits added seem to be there for the sake of it, ie knocking down walls with a hammer or brushing sand off hyroglyphics they look fun but will it become tedious when the original game was so much fun as it was, im saying it may be case of if it aint broke, but your right i should hold my horses and sample first.
