SPOnG is a big fan of Codemasters’ Brian Lara series – we’re always guaranteed a top summer title to keep us going through the relative gaming drought of the summer months.

This 'summer' is particularly special for fans of leather on willow, with Codies’ PSP exclusive cricket game Brian Lara 2007 Pressure Play releasing very soon (date to be confirmed very shortly) – check out the very first trailer from the title right below these words.

Brian Lara 2007 Pressure Play will feature a fully licensed ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 mode, including iconic stars of international cricket, such as Steve Harmison (England), Brett Lee (Australia), Sachin Tendulkar (India) and Shahid Afridi (Pakistan).

If you just need a quick virtual cricket fix on the bus, there is also a 'Pressure Play' mission mode focused purely on cricketing skills and covering all the aspects of the sport, with 16 challenges ranging from "Bowl an over with no extras", to the more demanding "Hit 6 consecutive 6's within 5 overs" – all designed with quick-play, handheld gaming in mind.

Finally, if all that weren’t enough already, Brian Lara 2007 Pressure Play features Wi-Fi connectivity for multiplayer gaming, updated AI and instant “Hawk-Eye™” ball analysis options.
