Boy Bags PlayStation 2 And A Fortune
Never mind the cost of the PlayStation 3, when a PS2 bundle arrives on your doorstep with a value of £44,095, heads turn. That's exactly what happened to a boy from Aylsham, Norfolk, when he bought a PS2 on eBay for £95 and it turned up with £44,000 stuffed into the package.

When the lucky youngster, who has asked not to be named, received his super-value package he told his parents who alerted the police and turned the money over.

What, then of the cash? A police spokesman said, "Our economic crime unit is trying to establish where this money came from... If we find the rightful owner of the money and they have a legitimate reason for having it, the money will be returned to them.

"If it is found to be the proceeds of crime then the courts will be able to seize the cash for public funds.

"However, if ownership cannot be ascertained then this boy's family could apply to keep it under the Police Property Act."

Since the cash turned up in March (details have only just been released), and the source of the cash hasn't yet been determined, we reckon there's going to be one very happy PS2-owning Norfolkian.

Bargain.
