Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games: First Screens!

We'll admit it - a small part of SPOnG didn't believe that Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games was real at first. When the announcement came through SPOnG's resident Aussie cried out "Bloody oath crikey! It's not strewthin' April Fools Day is it?", while SEGA and Nintendo fanboys of old fanned themselves in shock around the office. Now we've seen the screens below, however, there's no denying it. It's coming.

It does seem a little cruel, however, for SEGA to have included a screen of Mario racing Sonic. Is SEGA making fun of the Italians? Or maybe the company's had a run in with some cowboy plumbers of late? Or maybe it just hates fatters. We don't know. We do know where our money'd be put down in that race, however.
