It's been a long time coming, but Microsoft has finally let fly the first round of screenshots for
Fable 2, along with some art, in honour of E3. The company has also confirmed some new details for the Lionhead-developed title.
Fable 2 is set in the world of Albion, 500 years after the events of the first game. If you were in any doubt, don't worry, that doesn't mean there'll suddenly be flying cars around every corner. 500 years is a mere drop in the ocean of time as far as epic fantasy is concerned. Like the original, players will be off a'questing in a world where the choices you make directly affect the game's outcome.
Players can choose to be either a man or a woman, and the game world will enable them to do things like get married and have children, should they be feeling domestic.
The combat system has also had an overhaul, with players able to mix up swords, maces, bows, guns and a new and improved magic system with different fighting styles to take down the big bads.
