Nintendo has hit on a sure-fire way to appeal to the older casual market yet again - how to train your face to look younger!
How? With its new DS Camera (pictured here) and an ‘only-from-Japan’ piece of software called
Otona no DS Kao Training (that's
Adult Face Training to you).
So, having already sharpened up the brains of Japan’s aging population, Nintendo now wants to help make them look younger, without the aid of expensive face-creams and lotions. Sheer genius, Mr Iwata!
The Japanese refer to the exercises taught via the software as "facening," which they claim makes your skin more elastic and younger-looking.
Adult Face Training features “facening expert” Fumiko Inudo and is co-developed by
Fire Emblem makers Intelligent Systems.
Check the official site for more barking mad illustrations and details (in Japanese).
Face Training releases in Japan in August. No word yet on plans to release it outside of Japan. Though surely, as with everything Nintendo-related, that’s just a matter of time.
Let us know in the forum how else you imagine the DS Camera might be used. Like, with games, for example!
