Guitar Hero: Rocks the '80s launches later next month and, just to remind you of how awful the 1980s were, take a look at the full track listing below.

Previously we were underwhelmed by the choice of music. However, now that they have some Dead Kennedy’s on the track listing (or at least ‘as made famous by Dead Kennedys') we suddenly really can’t wait to play it!

no Motorhead (forgive me oh Lourde, oh Gode, oh Lemmy, for I am, by nature too indolent to figure out how to make Thine Most Holy Umlauts which should rightly appear amidst the Sacred Characters of Thine Blessed Bandname) either...

few snipes.

First off...'Shakin' by Edward 'Philthy' Money...a contender for the Most Painful Music Video to Watch Hall of Fame, ugliest cars ever combined with his homely mug in one or two hideously contrived expressions while having small seziures during the chorus as needed.

Another thing, seems like theres cover songs, that are only 'as made famous by' the band they're covered by. I mean if you're gonna choose a cover tune, at least get the 'actual cover'...looks cheap going this way. The original artists not fit the timeframe? Only (weak) excuse I see. (esp. for Krokus over Brownsville Station, or was it a 'hair metal' thing?)

Bravo on Police Truck, but won't it be heavily censored?

I mean some people might not get that those lyrics refer to hypothetical acts of police brutality in first person perspective to show how abhorrent it really is, rather than glorify such behavior. Regardless, rather have a track that wouldn't need any censoring like...errr...have to get back to you on that...
