Calm down now, but Atari has acquired the official endorsement of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) to make horsey games. Atari says that it will "work closely with the FEI to deliver a level of detail and authenticity never before seen in this gaming genre, delivering products which offer the most realistic and enjoyable equestrian video game experience possible."
The move is clearly aimed squarely at the ever-growing female gamer market. Although no details of upcoming games has been announced yet, SPOnG will be stunned if we don't see at least one DS title coming out of the deal. SPOnG has to wonder, however, don't pictures of Lara Croft on the beach make girls want to pick up a control pad? What's wrong with them? Furthermore, do the kind of hearty girls who trundle off to the yard in their wellies and chaps to shovel horse muck actually play games?

Why did you put a picture of a horse if it's not in game footage?... Is that so we dont get confused with which animal the horse is!?.... OHH yer sooo that's a horse!...ohh right, sorry i thought the horse was small with a beak & wings?..
