PC owners who decide to grab themselves a copy of the
World In Conflict Collector's Edition this September will walk away with a piece of modern history to call their very own.
We'll let Sierra's Al Simone explain it for you. "The
World in Conflict Collector's Edition offers gamers the chance to grab a piece of history - an authentic piece of the Berlin Wall, a monument that once divided the Cold War superpowers right through the heart of Europe," he said.
He then went on to explicate the key difference between modern history and the timeline of
World In Conflict Collector's Edition for us all. "In
World in Conflict, the Berlin Wall isn't dismantled in the name of global peace; it is obliterated by the collateral damage of the opening salvos of World War III."
SPOnG is left to wonder whether Tecmo will take a leaf out of Vivendi's book and ship the next
Dead or Alive game with some worn bikini bottoms...
World In Conflict Collector's Edition will also include a History Channel documentary about the wall dubbed
Modern Marvels, behind the scenes footage of the game's development and special packaging.
It was confirmed last week that
World in Conflict will also be
heading for the 360 as the leaves start to change. For more on the Cold War strategy title see SPOnG's
dedicated game page.
