Yes, yes, yes. We all watched the ‘shocking’ Panorama report earlier this week on the negative effects of too much telly and computer games on our children, but sometimes (not often enough) we get games that we really enjoy getting stuck into with our younger sons, daughters and nephews and nieces. Mario Party 8
is surely set to be one such game for the coming summer, so it’s with a smidgeon of annoyance that we have to report today that the UK release of the game has slipped from the planned release this Friday (June 22nd) to later next month. July 13th to be exact.
Nintendo tells us that the mini slippage is down to production problems with the English version of the game. Bah!
"We are working hard to rectify the issue to ensure this fun, family party game can be enjoyed as soon as possible," they also add.
Work harder Nintendo! Make it come soon, otherwise the summer hols will be upon us, and then what are we going to entertain our children with! Good heavens above, we may even have to take them outside to play in the park!
