The Jackass game due out in September is probably “crappy” – at least according to Johnny Knoxville – although whether he was being ironic or not when making that statement last month, we’re not sure.
We’ll reserve judgement on that till Empire lets us have a play on the game later this month. Though we have to say the first batch of screens for the PS2 and the PSP versions have got us thinking about the joys of being able to kick Knoxville in his virtual knackers when the game comes out this September.
You see the effects this kind of game have on sane people? We demand that the BBFC immediately refuses to classify its displays of real life inanity, thus making it all the more desirable!
The game includes a ton of bizarre and pain-inflicting mini-games which from the screens you can see here show a shopping trolley race, a Whack-a-Weeman game, and Johnny Knoxville strapped to a massive target ready to be shot with something hilariously painful. Ouch! The daft bugger!
The game is also set to include extreme unicycling, rolling down San Francisco’s hills in a trash can, hopping over the neighbours fences and more of the to-be-expected masochistic shenanigans from Knoxville and his gang of modern-day freaks and clowns.

Here’s the first trailer from the game. See what you think.
