Electronic Arts' Montreal studios' Wii dance-a-thon
Boogie is set to release in the UK and Europe on 31st August.
Boogie will ship to retail bundled with a karaoke microphone peripheral so you can warble along to songs such as ‘those made popular by’ (i.e. not-as-good covers of songs by) The Jackson 5, Kool & The Gang, M.C. Hammer, The Village People, Cyndi Lauper and Britney Spears.
"We have assembled a great selection of music for the game that will appeal to players of all ages, making this dancing and karaoke game the ultimate party package for the entire family," said Alain Tascan, Vice President and General Manager, EA Montreal.
In
Boogie , as well as players being able to dance and sing they can also create their own music videos – by recording their best dance moves along with their best renditions of the songs and putting together their own videos with the game’s easy-to-use music video creator.
Boogie also promises to deliver fun mini-games, co-op gameplay, head-to-head dance battles and karaoke party modes.
