Empire Interactive’s marketing supremo, Rob Noble (pictured), is surely a happy man today, as he informs us that his latest baby, the rather splendid Xbox 360-exclusive FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage has gone gold (the development stage rather than a strange alchemical event) and is set to arrive in stores a week on Friday (22nd June).

"All the hard work is over and FlatOut Ultimate Carnage is ready to hit the prime time and to take its rightful place as the number one destruction racer on the market," he says.

Check the latest batch of screens just in, to whet our appetites for destruction just that little bit more.

SPOnG likes what we’ve seen on FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage to date, as you can see from our recent preview of the Bugbear Entertainment developed little smasher.

I'm glad Empire are pushing this sequel as it can easily get overlooked by Burnout. Videos look great, I'll be buying one.

Really looking 4ward to this game after seeing the trailer on XBLM, i love burnout but after having every addition i'm gettin a bit tired of that franchise. But this has what burnout never had.... people smashing through the windscreens!! haha, it's a must have!, i hope they do a driver cam, so if your viewing your driving from inside the car (like PGR) then when u crash you can see through the drivers eyes as u smash out onto the road!.... bring on the boozed up Friday nights & this game on LIVE!!..
