Today we are berating ourselves and our stupid parents for our general laziness in not learning Japanese as children, for if we had, then we would be able to enjoy the latest
Zelda when it releases on DS in Japan in June.
Here’s the latest batch of Japanese version of
The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass - surely set to be the DS game of the year - to remind you what it’s looking like so you can go and dig out that copy of
Japanese For Dishonourable Dummies again.
As you can see, the game promises to be everything we want from
classic Zelda gameplay featuring dungeons, swashbuckling swordplay, and Link sailing a-top the high seas. And more.
If you liked
Wind Waker, which this game is clearly closest to visually, then you are surely in for a proper treat when
The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass finally reaches our shores.
Let’s just hope it’s sometime this year rather than next.
