I thought the second one was really a step below the first - it didn't have the same strong story , it had a poor difficaulty curve in places and the light/dark thing just felt like they had ran out of ideas.

MP3 looks pretty much the same as the others, and I'm not betting that Retro, who only make Metroid games now they're a full Nintendo subsidary, are able to innovate enough to make it surpass the first and become a generally excellent game.

Willing to be proved wrong though...

I'm disappointed there has been no online multiplayer confirmed, I figured that was the reason it was taking so long.

I'll be definitely picking this up, and Adam as far as I can tell Retro have changed the flow of the game around with this a bit, you only have the one beam which steadily gets upgraded as you move along the game for instantance, and saying this ends the "trilogy" I assume we'll get an insight into the origin of Phazon and the end of Dark Samus in what hopefully is a better final boss then MP2. I do agree with the unfair difficulty in prime 2, f**k me if the boost guardian and alpha blog are impossible at first, and the final boss on hard mode is unbearable.

Actually thinking about the wii-makes, imagine 1 of MP1, with online multiplayer thrown in, that'd kick an insane amount of ass.

And Dave, as far as I know Diamond and Pearl are due out June 30th

Can someone tell me why I bought the Wii again? It can't have been for games since they HAVEN'T RELEASED ANYTHING IN THE UK since launch!

Anyone else tell that I'm getting a little peeved at forking out for a glorified internet terminal for my TV?
