Ubisoft's CEO,
Yves Guillemot, has said that he sees Sony's long-held console dominance weakening - and remember that Ubisoft is 15% owned by Electronic Arts, so that's a great deal of sway.
Speaking to Reuters, Guillemot said, "For sure, Sony will have a different market share... lower than before.”
But what's to be done? Simple: "They have to decrease the price quite significantly."
That's not to say that Ubisoft isn't supporting the PS3. He revealed that Ubisoft will be releasing a PS3-exclusive, although he remained tight-lipped on the details. It's expected that the game will be announced at the company's Ubidays press event in Paris next week.
The exclusive must be pretty gratifying for Sony, as Ubisoft was previously planning to release the much-hyped
Assassin's Creed as a PS3 exclusive but decided to
let the Xbox 360 in on the action instead.
