Ten Years of Tomb Raider Documentary
First a game, then a documentary, whatever next!
If you are a fan of Ms Lara Croft (and who isn’t?) then you will be happy to know that a 10-year retrospective documentary covering pretty much everything you might ever need to know about Tomb Raider has just been launched.
Since Ms.Croft graced the cover of (now-defunct) style bible The Face in the mid-1990s, the character is regularly credited (along with Sony’s PlayStation brand) of bringing videogaming to the unwashed masses.
Whether you agree with that assertion or not (and you can let us know in the Forum) it’s fair to say that the cultural influence of Tomb Raider has been significant.
The first part of the retrospective series on 10 Years of Tomb Raider is now available to download at Gametap.com
"The Retrospectives series explores the most beloved game franchises and their impacts on pop culture. With 10 Years of Tomb Raider we show the history of this legendary series of games," said Ricardo Sanchez, GameTap's vice president of content for GameTap.
Tomb Raider Anniversary edition is out on June 1st on PC, PS2 and PSP and later this year on Nintendo Wii.
