Despite confirming a ton of games for Microsoft’s new baby, Konami officials still fret over the console’s Japanese appeal.
"Games for Xbox don't figure much in our plans for next year,” said Kazumi Kitaue, a director at Konami. “Devoting resources to game development for the new console is risky, as the company has not shown us a clear business strategy.”
This is the second time Microsoft’s business strategy has been questioned by a Japanese developer in the same number of weeks, following Capcom’s similar statement.
At present Konami has Crash Bandicoot X, Jurassic Park X, Silent Hill X and the eagerly anticipated Metal Gear Solid X.
