SPOnG recently got a good look at SEGA/Bizarre Creation’s The Club, a properly innovative arcade shooter which we described as “the uber-violent, arcade spawn of a marriage made in gaming heaven”

The high concept behind The Club is that it is ‘gladiators/a beat-'em up with guns’, and Bizarre has attempted to take the best elements from racing games, shoot-em-ups and fighting games and combine them to make something entirely new.
From what we’ve seen to date, it seems to be working. We should have a full hands on preview of The Club in the near future.
