Check out the first video on EA’s
Boogie – its shake-yer-booty Wii dance exclusive due out later this year.
Boogie promises to be a major party game for Christmas 2007 is currently being put together over at EA Montreal – the guys who last brought us the snow-Wii
SSX Blur.
Boogie is described as a unique music/rhythm-based game that takes advantage of the Wii controls to get gamers shaking their asses, singing and even starring in their own music videos (A bit like an offline, low-res
SingStar then? – Cynicism Ed).
Check the screens below, which give a little better idea as to how the game's controls will work.
SPOnG feels that
Boogie is a game which is likely to be best enjoyed with the odd glass or two of sherry.
SPOnG should be finally getting to bust moves and make shapes with
Boogie in the very near future, so watch this space.
