Last Tuesday Sega of Japan were forced to shut down the Phantasy Star Online servers to deter one very determined hacker.
Sega were made aware that someone was hacking into the PSO servers and tampering with the server data. What the mystery malicious key-tapper was up to is still unknown.
Sonic Team was forced to close the servers between 5pm and 11pm to up the levels of security and keep the hacker at bay.
