Xbox 360 is Limited Says Rockstar Bossman

What is good then, Dan?

Rockstar’s big boss fella, Dan Houser – the creative powerhouse behind the forthcoming Grand Theft Auto IV – has had a bit of a pop at Microsoft’s Xbox 360 this week.

Houser told an interviewer that he believed the fact that there is no guarantee that every 360 machine will have a hard drive, plus the relatively limited disc storage (compared with Blu-ray) has been limiting in developing GTA IV.

"To be honest with you we haven't solved all those riddles yet," Houser told the interviewer, although – a little more diplomatically added, "both [360 and PS3] have enormous challenges…[and] both have their own particular pleasures and pains".

SPOnG should finally be getting some hands on time with GTA IV in the very near future, so stay tuned for more on one of the bookies favourites for this year’s Christmas number one.

umm "To be honest with you we haven't solved all those riddles yet," - isn't this game supposed to be released in the next 4 months?

Um.. ok. I don't see what the problem is with A), releasing it on 2 discs or B) Requiring a HD to play. It's very simple. Well, more simple than other more complex solutions :)
