Boulder Dash-Rocks! (see what they did!) is due to drop on a handheld near you later this year.
For those of you of a certain age who might not remember (ie the young) Boulder Dash, was originally released in 1984 on the Apple II, MSX, ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, and Atari 400/800 home computers, and soon followed on NES, Acorn Electron, PC, Amstrad CPC, and loads of other now-dead gaming platforms (RIP dead computers!).
Players play the character of plucky prospector 'Rockford', digging through caves collecting gems and diamonds, avoiding baddies while dodging explosions, traps and falling rocks.
Boulder Dash- Rocks! is going to stay pretty true to the original and will feature five modes of play (with the requisite multiplayer mode of course) with one mode being exclusive to each platform.
