Well, Nintendo must be feeling pretty chipper today, not only did it clear up at the
MCV awards in London last night, it seems that it also has eight of the top ten best-selling video games in Japan right now, according to the latest chart.
Capcom's fourth
Phoenix Wright game,
Phoenix Wright 4 (Gyakuten Saiban 4) (DS), has shifted over a quarter of a million copies in its first week on Japanese shelves.
A second new DS title,
Mario Vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Mini's, is straight in at number two closely followed by
Wii Sports and
Wii Play at numbers three and five. Yes. Still!
The only two games that are not Nintendo format exclusives in this weeks chart are PS2 titles - Koei's
Musuo Orochi and Konami's
Pro Baseball Spirits 4.
