GameLife Founder Goes Postal – News Update
SPOnG reported earlier this week that GameLife founder and host Andrew Rosenblum had been arrested after apparently threatening to go postal and kill an ex-girlfriend.

The Boston Globe reported earlier today that, “A judge ordered a 20-year-old Needham man to stay away from Boston University where he attends classes and wear a GPS locating device 24 hours a day after he was arraigned today on charges that he sent a threatening instant message that invoked the Virginia Tech massacre.”

Andrew Rosenblum, apparently in some distress over his recently deceased grandmother as well as the fact that he and the girl in question had split up, allegedly wrote to the girl in an IM conversation on Monday night "It's going to be VT all over again."

According to Rosenblum's defence attorney, the woman reacted to Rosenblum's threatening words by writing, "This is not cool or a joke. This is how people get hurt." Rosenblum responded: "First of all, I don't even have a (expletive) gun or a weapon.''

A complete transcript of the IM conversation shows that Rosenblum made it clear to the woman he had no plans to follow through on his angry threats, Rosenblum's lawyer said.

"He made a thoughtless judgement in the midst of a long IM conversation," the legal counsel said, "he did not consider the implications of the words he used because he did not appreciate the impact of that language on the people who would later read it."

Rosenblum is due back in court June 13.
