Forza 2 Demo Coming Soon!

More motors unveiled

Microsoft Game Studios has just announced that a Forza Motorsport 2 demo will be available soon via Xbox Live Marketplace.

Microsoft's being a bit coy regarding specifics, saying “the details on timing will be confirmed in the coming weeks.” SPOnG reckons it'd best hurry up, since the racing sim's slated for a May release.

What Microsoft is prepared to dish out, however, is a couple more tidbits of information on what cars you can expect from the line-up. The Tommy Kaira Skyline from Nissan and the VeilSide Supra Fortune from Toyota will both be making an appearance on the track.

This particular SPOnG news writer isn't manly enough to know what they are, but we're informed they're rare models that'll add some spice to the proceedings.

The game's director Dan Greenawalt was quick to once again pimp the game's physics, saying,

“We’ve turned mountains of real world raw data into a living, breathing racing simulator where the only difference between the game and reality is that you’re not risking life and limb when you hit a wall at 200 mph.”

SPOnG's man on the ground at GDC was suitably impressed by Forza 2 when he took a peek last month. For his impressions click here. For more on all things Forza 2 take a look at SPOnG's dedicated page.

hehe, it only a matter of time before you try to hard around one of the corners and you lose all grip and fly off into a wall :)

This demo can't come soon enough. I've been playing lots of Forza lately, still a quality game.
