Former Sega Execs form new online gaming company

New high-bandwidth gaming promised by ex-Sega boss

Brad Huang and Lynn MacConnell, formerly CEO and CTO of Sega.com respectively, have formed a new online gaming company called New Miliennium Entertainment.

"New Millennium is the antidote to generic Internet connections plagued with network lags that make online gaming nearly impossible," said Brad Huang. "We will provide -- online and in real time - gaming at the speed of light, giving gamers the bandwidth necessary for an uninterrupted competitive experience that maximizes what gaming is about -- intensive graphics, nonstop fast action and real-time command response”

As well as supplying high-end servers for gaming, New Millennium Entertainment will act as a consultant to developers and publishers offering development tools and network solutions.

NME will launch this Spring and will offer its services to anyone with broadband Internet access.
