Dave Mirra BMX Game on PSP in May

Don't try this at home kids

If you were wondering what had happened to Dave Mirra BMX Challenge for PSP, then wonder no more, as the publishing rights for the game have been picked up by the UK’s Oxygen Games who plan to release the title this coming may. Radical, like, gnarly and all that, dude!

Dave Mirra, who famously has broken pretty much every bone in his body, is also known as “The Miracle Boy”. But SPOnG does not advise you try Mirra’s ridiculous bike-based stunts at home, kids!

Oxygen’s press release also informs us that Mirra is also easily the most decorated athlete in the history of the X-Games, having dominated the competition arena for over a decade.

Dave Mirra BMX Challenge, a far safer option than the actual thing, features ad hoc wireless play for 1-4 players, so you can challenge friends to racing and freestyle competitions and whatnot, across nine “exciting environments and 17 challenging levels”, including Shipyard, Far East, Washington Heights and a NASA space shuttle!

So the game makes no pretence towards realism then!

See all you need to see at SPOnG’s Dave Mirra BMX Challenge page.
