Eidos Takes Out Activision Executive

Corporate high jinks and boardroom shenanigans

Posted by Staff
Ever-expanding Brit publishing powerhouse, Eidos, has poached a senior sales exec from rival uber-publisher, Activision, trade magazine MCV reports today.

Bob Burridge has just quit as UK sales director at Activision after five years with the US giant, rejoining his old boss Scott Dodkins - who headed up Activision during its most successful period in Europe - but is now international boss of Eidos.

Burridge takes the role of UK general manager at Eidos. SPOnG imagines Bob drives a very big, very fast car and is likely to buy both a bigger and faster one at some point in the future. He also might like the occasional cigar.

Eidos has recently (somewhat carelessly) lost its own longtime head of sales, John Clark, who’s moved over to Sega.

More exciting tales of corporate high jinks and boardroom shenanigans as and when we get them!

Amongst other top titles in 2007, don't forget that Eidos is publishing the immense Age of Conan and the warped psycho-thriller that is Kane and Lynch (pictured).

Kane and Lynch looks quite interesting. Looking forward to that one.
