Transformers Being Made by Lego Star Wars Guys
Traveller’s Tales get the gig. Woohoo!
Transformers: The Game, based on Paramount Pictures' upcoming movie, is being developed by for Activision by LEGO Star Wars developer Traveller's Tales for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PS2 and PC. Handheld versions of the game will be developed by Savage (PSP) and Vicarious Visions (on DS).
In the game you will get to take control of the heroic Autobots or the dastardly Decepticons, mastering each character's unique weapons, moves and transformations.
Movement between robot and vehicle states will be effortless, according to Activision, plus the game will feature fully destructible environments, with all objects being able to be used as a possible weapon.
The game is scheduled to release around the same time as the movie, unsurprisingly, later in the summer, most likely late July. Stay tuned for screens, art, further details and a fixed release date very soon.
